| Oil on Ice is a vivid, compelling and comprehensive documentary connecting the fate of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge to decisions America makes about energy policy, transportation choices, and other seemingly unrelated matters. Caught in the balance are the culture and livelihood of the Gwich’in people and the migratory wildlife in this fragile ecosystem. |

With energy prices soaring, the debate over whether to open the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge to drilling has been pushed to the forefront of the debate over our energy future and the fate of our environment. Powerful political forces are working to take advantage of the current economic climate to "drill here, drill now," pushing candidates who were previously opposed to drilling to reconsider their positions.
Now, more than ever, crucial decisions confront our government. The next president of the United States will have a huge influence on not just the environment in the U.S. but the entire world. Please learn as much as you can about the candidates, share what you learn, vote and encourage your friends and family to vote. Thank you for all your past action and keep it up.
Please spread the word and help educate your friends, family, co-workers and neighbors. A fun and friendly way to do this is by hosting an "Oil on Ice" house party. For information on hosting House Parties and to see updates about issues and discussion topics please go to our House Party page.
