This 4-minute short film has been used throughout the country in conjunction with events to tell the story of the Arctic
National Wildlife Refuge and the effort to drill for oil there. It accompanies the in-depth, one-hour-long Oil on Ice documentary on the Oil on Ice WebDVD.
(Due to the editing style of this film -- using a split-screen effect -- these video files are slightly larger than usual in order for the viewer to more clearly see the action in each window.)
"Moving, lucid and aptly told, Oil on Ice
is quite simply the best documentary
to date on the [Arctic National Wildlife Refuge] issue."
